About the Artist: Padmini Rao – Remeslo 

Padmini is a crotchet artist by night and was drawn to mushrooms after many adventures in Nature and the outdoors. Having spent her college days in the company of hills, she is often inspired by woodland creatures. Her work comprises of vivid colours and plays with different morphology surrounding mushrooms. With an animated appearance and often with outlandish characters, her masterpieces come to life. Textiles have always been her experimental playground – specifically yarn. Her cat Nicholas, is often a silent observer as she crotchets away.
